This is the piece that reinforces the body down to the dash brace. It is an excellent and original piece. Chances are that you don't need one, as I've never seen one rusty, but I guess if you're restoring a car that maybe has wrecked, you might need it. It was glass bead blasted, treated with a rust inhibitor, primed and painted black. It sure helps to have a good, original part! As far as I can tell, these are not available to be purchased as new....
