The previos owner had a lot of NOS parts and WW2 NOS surplus parts, he built a lot of motors. The left crankcase has a 1948 belly number and the vin plate has never been stamped. The right case has a 1945 belly number. As I disassembled the motor everything to me appeared to have been built out of new old stock parts as far as I could tell.
