we have one 1972 only aermacchi harley davidson sprint SS350 / SX350 used fuel tank that has been beadblasted down to the raw metal. we see three small dents. there is NO RUST or corrosion in the metal, the seams or tunnel underneath. this was in our inventory for years and was "ready to be put in service" should we have needed it for a restoration or replacement on a 1972 Aermacchi Harley Davidson Sprint SS / SX350 the tank inside, in my opinion is not SPOTLESS but could use some soap and water...
