You are purchasing a USA-Made chrome reproduction of the spot lamp or spot light bracket OEM# 11369-46A for 1946 to 1957 spring fork twin models. This was designed to be able to mount the Deluxe spot lamps on the fork for models with the new hydraulic front shock introduced in 1946. We do have the earlier 11369-38 brackets in black or chrome if you need the earlier style. Spacing between the mount plates is right at 8" so it will mount outside the shock absorber.
