A beautiful rendition of the cast aluminum cap, this one engraved and made in stainless steel. The cap is half-drilled in the back for the pin-hole that was used on most early models for venting, you can finish the hole if you wish. (Machines after '73 or so used a different vent in the inner case and the hole was not required.) This lovely cap should fit ALL Norton with AMC gearbox. Script shows near dead level on pre-Commando applications as that's how the transmission was mounted.Bling it up!...
