You are buying 2 new 1/2" diameter Trailer Safety Chain Hooks with a safety latch clip that can be used to replace or extend the ones you have. These are for chains up to 5/16" with a chain opening of 5/16" inside of the chain links and have a M.B.S. of 5,500 pounds. A 1/2" clip will slip through the round hole BUT WILL NOT SLIDE DOWN THROUGH THE 5/16" BEND WITH THE CLIP. The hook is 4 1/4" long and is 1/2" in diameter. Any questions please ask....
