These latches are fabricated right here in Lake Orion, Michigan. This latch is made of high quality 1/4" thick steel plate guaranteed to last longer than those thin gauge spring latches you see from Tractor Supply or Amazon. When the bolt is pulled back, the end is nearly flush with the left side plate to make opening your gate easy. The back plate of the latch is roughly 3.75" Wide by 2.5" inches.
