This is a front shock absorber 8177/1 (AHH6961). The lever moves up and down but has no compression. It may need a top off of hydraulic fluid and a new gasket. But plan on a total rebuild. Or send it in as a core to save big money on ridiculous core charges refurbishers demand . Overall this will be a great one to work with. Get this for now or down the road.
