These brackets attach to the inside metal door skin near the door release handle (see last 6 pictures). They attach and support the Sport Door Panel arm rests on 1972 & 1973 Gran Torino 2 Door Sport and Sportroof (fastback) models or any other Gran Torino or Ranchero with Sport Door panels. Without these, a large center area of the door panel pulls away each time you use the finger cup in the arm rest to shut the heavy door.
