Damper was used on an internal balanced SBC with a dual keyway BBC crank snout. Could but used on a BBC internal balanced engine as well. Listed as for parts or not working for two reasons. 1. Shell rubbed against a misaligned timing tab(see pic) 2. Hub has a small ridge in the front that can easily be filed off if desired, it's past the crank mounting surface....
