It's open box but the part you see was brand new. Was in original factory-sealed bag before we opened to take pics. There was originally a gasket but it is broken (which is probably why it is a returned item). We will send you the broken gasket but no pics because we want you to expect only the water pump, which is what is being offered. You will need to provide your own gasket....
