OMC Evinrude Johnson 386680 superceded to 388001 & 5 part numbers after that, 9.9hp 15hp gearcase, I feel safe saying it will fit the 9.9 & 15hp from 1977-84 and it will possibly fit models much newer, but I cannot confirm that.... I purchased a few truckloads from an Omc distributor that passed away and the warehouse has been locked up tight for 30 or 40 years, I purchased several hundred brand new parts, & a half dozen gearcases in the box, but this one has had oil put in it but it still seems...
