This block is from a 2005 Mercury 225 HP Optimax, 6 cylinder, 2 stroke, direct fuel injected, 20 inch outboard. Engine SN- 1B105380 It has been rebuilt before. It appears the front half and back half are from different engines. When the motor failed this time, it appears one of the main bearings on the crank failed and caused some damage to the block.
