Just acquired this 2010 40hp 4-stroke engine. Unfortunately I don’t have the connections to test the hours. This is the cleanest engine I’ve seen so far. Even the stickers on the lower unit have minimal wear. The story the previous owner gave me is that it was running great when he had the oil changed.
