The skid is 1" wide and 6" long. It is made out of 3/16" thick 300 series Stainless Steel. It will accept up to a 1-3/4" O.D. 3/8" thread tie down ring. This skid will eliminate bending of the tie down ring and damage to the tail. This is a must have for training aircraft. The skid is currently mounted on several experimental and certified aircraft.
