This is a RARE General Electric “TURTLEBACK” Magneto G.E. Type S18LG-P1B, Pratt & Whitney part number 90100, Cat. No 8258925G2, serial number 171216. This type of magneto was used with Pratt & Whitney R-2800-21, -59, -65 and -71 Radial Aircraft Engines (also considered as “R-2800-B” Series).
