Reference: LB7 Description: DAMAGED Lower Valve Cover (rocker box) removed from 2002 Chevrolet 3500.Engine was 6.6L Duramax Diesel.P/N: 97223425LB7 (2001-2004)DAMAGE: There are thread bosses for the upper cover bolts. Some of these bosses are chipped away (see 3rd photo). Good ones look like the (4th photo).If you use too long of a bolt to hold the upper cover to this lower cover, you will break these bosses.
