This shaft is a direct replacement for Saab#9348541 that fails at the metal ball/shaft weld location. Approximate dimensions are 13" long x .5" diameter. It is rare to find and is nolonger available from Saab. It is manufactured in the USA to metric standards. I replaced the broken component in my car and it has perfect fit and function.
