This is a vintage Hurst Competition Plus 4 speed shifter with linkage and mounting bracket that just came out of the estate of a long time collector. This was found in a box just as you see it. The part number on the handle is 3177. The part number on the bracket is 3176. Based on that info, I believe this shifter is designed to fit 64-73 Mustangs and Cougars with a 4 speed toploader transmission.
