THESE ARE VERY SHORT SHOCKS. THE BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE TO DETERMINE IF THEY ARE APPROPRIATE FOR THEIR APPLICATION. These are new Heavy Duty motorcycle rear black shock absorbers. They are not air shocks but they make excellent replacement shocks for the GL1100 Gold Wing. The free length is 11" which is 1 3/4" shorter than the original shocks.
