These are new HEAVY DUTY black shock absorbers. They have black bodies with black springs. The free length is 13.5" which is about 1/2" shorter than the OEM shocks. The original shocks have rubber bushings in the upper shock eyelets which tend to crack and split over time. This set of shocks has all metal bushings which will not wear out. We have been selling and installing these shocks in our service department for over 30 years. They are not air shocks but they make excellent replacement shock...
