These are new heavy duty motorcycle chrome shorty shock absorbers. The free length from eye to eye is 10.5". The original stock length is about 12.5" so these shocks will lower the bike by about 2". The original shocks have rubber bushings which tend to crack and split over time. This set of shocks has all metal bushings which will not wear out.
