These adapters were developed specifically for the new style Toyota Tundra trucks. While older Toyota models needed a 3/4" spacer for proper fitment and sealing to the door panel, the Tundra needs a full 1", These adapters are made from ABS plastic, and the standard mounting holes for a 6x9 speaker are predrilled.
