Used starter out of a Honda CB500/550 parts lot, Should work on all the CB550K, CB500K, and the CB550F from 1971-1978. I hooked this up to a 12 volt battery and it spins nice and smooth and quiet. Sounds like a good starter. It does have a broken bolt where the cover attaches. Thanks for looking.
