I purchased this subwoofer to install in a 2021 Volvo XC90 with the "Premium Sound" Sensus system. If you don't have the Harmon Kardon or Bowers & Wilkins system in your Volvo already, you will need to bypass the existing amp and use either a DSP enabled amp to power the sub or a LOC- Line Output Converter to get a a signal to the subwoofer.
