This is a NOS Lucas die cast knob 344999. Fitted to switches 34023, 34034, and 34050. It probably has more applications than I can figure out, but so far I have figured out it is intended for a 1950 Bristol 401, 1953 Reliant, and 1954 Sunbeam Alpine. It is probably intended for more and can fit even more. Due to being in storage for over half a century, there is a spot where the paint is missing that is visible in the pictures.
