Up for sale is a BMW e28 OEM 3rd brake light retrofit pulled from a 1985 524TD. Originally from a 1984 e23 733i, it was converted to LED and made to easily wire into the driver side tail light, as my e28 did not have the necessary wiring. Enough length to splice the red wire to the driver side tail light and black to ground. With the LED conversion, light output is doubled and more than makes up for the weak output of the tail lights.
