This product is a timing chain cover for 2000-03 XJR Jaguar XKR Vanden Plas 4.O AJ27 engines. It comes with a new gasket kit for installation. The cover is made of aluminum and is unfinished. It is a direct replacement and fits on the front of the engine. The Jaguar manufacturer part number is AJ81758. From a well maintained 2000 Jaguar VANDEN PLAS naturally aspirated 113,000 miles.
