This is a shift selector switch for the ZF automatic transmission that was used in the e46, e39, and e85 models from 1999 to 2005. It is in perfect working condition. Also called neutral switch The "wire loom" or plastic encasing BMW provided for the wires was very low quality and is usually cracked or disintegrated on used items. I have replaced with a high-temperature split loom that will better withstand the conditions. Compare with other used items and you will see the difference...
