This unit came off a 1981 KX420 The only thing I can see with these cases is there is one broken bolt where the case saver bolts on. There is a small crack on the boss where the bolt is stuck. You can see it in the 2nd photo. Everything else looks good. They will a good cleaning. I recommend changing the transmission bearings as this engine had a trans failure and there was metal shavings in the bottom. The crank bearings are junk as well. Check out my other KX420 parts...
