These are not real VARD trees, they appear to be a duplicate casting that was never finished. Best I can tell, they are solid brass. The tube holes are for 1.5". 39mm fits well. The top casting is pretty nice and flat. The bottom tree has a casting flaw where it is slightly raised where one of the fork stops is, as seen in the picture. All the machined surfaces seem flat and straight. The stem hole is around .995....
