Early ‘79-‘80 Porsche 924 Turbo models had a relatively simple turbocharger oil drain hose. Certain vehicles were subject to poor oil drainage from the turbo, leading to excessive consumption and smoking. Porsche remedied this with a retrofit kit for S1 models, and it became standard on S2 models. This revised vented oil drain assembly is part of the “JO” TSB campaign remedy.
