This part came from an estate with a large amount of "new old stock" vintage car parts. They have all been sitting for a very long time. In many cases, the packaging is in very rough shape, but the part is new and has never been used. If there is any surface rust on a part, I will note it in the Item Description section of the listing (unless it is factory sealed and I do not open it which will be clear in the listing).
