Original NOS British Leyland BD22757 hood release cable adjuster. Fits some 1968-92 Jaguar and Daimler models - check your application. OK - this was actually a NOS factory sealed item but the part had started to oxidize (see last photo) in its bag so I went and opened it and cleaned the part (photo 3). Now about the bag label - the part number refers to a cable adjuster but the label says "terminal post". So what do you think?? Photos of actual item. See my other sales for more Brit car stuff. ...
